Have you ever tried a camera safari? Have you ever thought of visiting an African wildlife sanctuary? You can actually do this easily and Africa really needs income from various tourists.
The African wildlife is interrelated with saving its nature, culture and people. But only saving the land or animal is not good enough for its people. We have to look after Africa from a broader perspective otherwise it will be another failure just the Conservation Movements of the 60′s and 70′s. Earlier no human community was involved in their work. Leaders nowadays involve everyone in order to implement overall improvement in various sectors like health, education, area development, animal conservation, business opportunities, waste management and so on.
Only if we adopt a holistic approach, we will be able to improve the condition of Africa. A poor Bosnian family suffering from illness and hunger will hardly care about protecting the endangered species like leopard and African wild dogs. But overall conditions of people have improved. They are neither that sick nor hungry. The children of Africa have a bright future as they have their own land. In fact they can participate in small groups in development of their regions and can actively take part in tourism business which has become quite popular in Africa these days.
Building restaurants, lodges, hotels, tour agencies etc. in such a country which is predominated by AIDS and poverty is indeed a very difficult task. But still one has to move on. Tourism creates huge income as well as employment which can be used in improving the education system and health care facilities for the locals.
With huge monetary transactions, both national as well as foreign, the scope of exchanging cultural advances and increasing awareness has increased manifolds. The environment as wells the wildlife of Kenya, Namibia and Tanzania attract a huge number of tourists from various parts of the word. Local people have started taking initiative to save and protect these animals as wildlife tourism in Africa has actually improved the standard of living of the local people.
Tourism industry will not only generate revenue but also will improve the education and health standard of African people.
